All good guesses, and were the ones I was guessing too, until I researched it.
Hotfordcat guessed Fiat Spider, and he was right, maybe; depends on if he was thinking about the later 124 Spiders which we all are familiar with, or this one, which is a 1500 Spider from the early '60's! Probably '64-ish.

Not many of these left from what I understand, there are probably 30-50 in the U.S.

          Fender mirror

I believe you are right about what model of car this is,but did anyone notice the location of the fender mirror compared to the one in the Red picture, thats not to say someone could not have moved it. Great find.

            I think it's a '51. Judging by this....

and the looks of the quarter panel extension leading to the taillight doesn't look to be blended like the '49 and '50.

            Just my 2˘.

Here is a pic of a Fiat Spider with the mirror on the fender, it's probably just a year to year change.

!!! Looks like 3 in a row there!

Wldfire, are pics 1 & 3 the same car? Looks like some trim on the side that is still usable too. BTW, what happened there? It almost looks like the cars went through a flood.

Deathegg...pickapart in ontario, ca...the impound yard adjacent...could be a thread on its own. A bunch of floating DMV titles that will never see the road again ever. Probably 20+mustangs, 4 headlight chevelles, 10 station wagons of 50-60s vintage, and then the roadster types I'm not familiar with not unlike the ones posted above. Wes would know what im talking about. They're not quite abandoned but, emotionally they are, and it's even sadder becuase they arent in a full state of decay...yet

Yeah, the Ontario pickapart was a fave of mine, and that impound yard was great! I would drool each time I was there. They had some cool cars there. Hopefully some of them will be on the road again; there has to be some way around title issues. I would hate to think of some of those being crushed. At least it's in SoCal where they won't rust! I will be visiting in August, will have to go and see what they have.
