Bought this beauty in KS for 100 bucks. Since then I have gotten it to run and then some. Show the love!

Acid washed the wheels, washed the interior/exterior. Replaced L fender and hood. Waiting on priming the L/R doors and fender. Repalced the fuel filter, shifter assembly, exhaust, AFM, intake assembly. New battery. Drained the gas in tank, put in new. Protege seats, tach cluster. Idles at 750-800, runs great

Got a lot of improvement yet to come, but now i can get in it and drive it around the block. The e-brake cable is snapped in this one as well......looks like i'll be rebuilding these brakes as well!

                WES,

Can you elaborate on the acid washing of the wheels.
Not a term I've heard in regards to wheels.

It's a high strength wire wheel cleaner we have at work. Basically it has a chemical reaction to any metal you put it on. It foams up nice and white, let it sit for a while and powerwash off. Repeat if neccisary. Great stuff, removes and dirty grime, rust, stains from oil......anything.
