I was thinking of a less for profit and more toward a car fund and whatever I had left over I would either sink into the car or donate to FF.com
-
if its priced right I would be interested in alternate lighting and grill options

That would be great. I could use those measurements to draw a life-size on some cardboard and go from there. I started work on it tonight just getting the parts out of the way that needed to and such. I wish I could find the cable to hook the camera up so I could post some pictures and start a different thread about the conversion.Originally posted by Festiva_tunner View PostI can get you measurements of the front end with out any lights off the parts car tonight
That's what had me boggled shorestiva, I measured in the middle of the grill, but thinking back on it, I think I measured from the apex of the curvature too, just making sure that I had all of the correct measurements, but it seems as though I will have that taken care of and have a mock front piece once Festiva_tunner gets all of the measurements for meOriginally posted by shorestiva View PostThe 9.5 was in the middle of the headlight not the longest edge so the could be some of the difference.
On a side note, I'm considering the idea (Lots of "ifs" here) that if it looks really good and if people like it enough, that I would make these for people for the cost of parts and a donation to the "Help me get a Festiva" fund
Think people (or you) would go for it? Give me your ideas or suggestions! (I guess one would call that "a feeler")

Edit: If someone has the gumption to do so, could anyone make me a cardboard or paper template of the festiva front without the headlights and grill with the hood line and such?? I should probably just go to a J/Y and do it, but it's tough getting around without a car.

Ok.. I have a question on measurements.
Another forum member gave me a measurement of 50 7/8" between the corner lights (turn signals), with my math, that would make the headlight width 10 5/16", but a measurement of 9.5" was posted earlier in this thread, which leaves a gap of 13/16". Are there gaps enough to fill that much space in the front grill?Last edited by pr0nst4r; 08-13-2009, 01:37 PM.

Ok, this should be the last photoshop that I do on this project unless anyone wants anything in particular. Next time you see this concept, it should either be on Eurotiva's car just for a pic or on my very Festiva.
Here is the fixed pic because I'm picky like that:

Edit: I am literally right now marking the grill I got from Greg (Eurotiva) for what needs to be removed. It looks like I'll be able to retain most of the stock mounting points.Last edited by pr0nst4r; 08-13-2009, 12:43 PM.
