I'm slowly re-packing in the electronics...

    And more goodies!

All this is powered by this B@D@ASS.

I monitor the batteries with this.

And the yet un-finished front console.

                  N5

Wouldn't just installing a Pioneer AVIC-N5 have been simpler?

I am keeping my console free for Kleenex.
My cigarette lighter will be replaced by my choke cable and my ashtray by a single drink holder.
Some day I too will have a GPS and know where I am.

                  Good work.

Festiva_tunner, it's something I picked up online. Made by boss.

The av install from hell takes shape!

I have decided to just keep adding to a single thread, rather than constantly creating a new one.

(I'm sure admins will be pleased)

Did an eyelid tonight. It was a pain, (tint always is) but I'm glad I did. I've been meaning to do this since I bought it.

A shot of the new headlight (thanks thered56)

I installed the front cam. (it works in the dark too!)

                        up close

Cleaned up some stickers... (that NOS one was getting me too much heat)

The av system, working in dual head mode.

The overhead display. It was a steal & i'm right chuffed at the results!!!

jeez, that's a lot of electronics! That must have been a lot of work too. All you need now is a Flux Capacitor in the back seat! lol
BTW, what is the front camera for?
If it has boobs or wheels, sooner or later you're going to have trouble with it.

                              sasquatch, thanks!

deathegg: It still IS a lot of work. I'm nowhere near done. I just stumbled onto the power to battery cable in my tickle trunk of parts, and the rest just kinda snowballed from there. Once I knew I had all the parts handy, there was extra motivation to get at least the av part of the install going. I also wanted to make sure all this stuff actually worked. Some of this I had bought up to a year ago.

Also, the front camera is going to feed to one of the car pc's, recording a couple of minutes of driving for "near misses" and "road rage" documentation. I may also want to tie it into the alarm system so that it can start streaming video if the shock sensor is tripped.
