    they had a 323 at the yard....motor looks good but I do not know....they do not mark them

    Bring a battery and a compression tester.

        Was it involved in an accident. If so my guess it was at one time a running car. When i go to the yards. I look for all the cars that have been t-boned and whatnot.

        Sounds like a plan but some yards won't let you bring in batteries now for some stupid reason??

          looks like a good motor, pull the valve cover, and look at the inside of the head, also bring a battery and try to start it if the keys are in the ignition.

            OR, pull and rebuild. then there's no question about it.
            Trees aren't kind to me...
