Mini Meet at Twin Groves Wind Farm

John (Pu241) was in town and had time to meet up . . . we looked over the cars and discussed some findings about upgrades and swaps from other cars. I gave him a tour of the base of one of the turbines and talked about the components and how they produce electricity.
All in all it was a great meet - Some of the pictures are below.

Yeah, what a great tour!
If I wasn't already committed to my field of endeavor this would be high on the list!
Trevor was a great host.
Those things are very impressive up close and personal!
As "up close and personal as you can get with a piece of equipment that size!

I think Trevor as rewired his entire car!
He has also com across of "abnormalities" between years of AC units we all might want to take note of.
I'll let Trevor elaborate and maybe we can help by getting him pic of various components on various years and AC installs.

In any case had a blast.
And that fun top was a nice piece of installation!

Trevor, you need to show John how to install one of those fun tops so he can put one in Big Red! Seriously, one gets a good idea of how big those wind turbines are when compared to the Festivas and we need a lot more of the turbines instead of depending on foreign oil.
