It'll stay stock until I can find a B8. Then it's Turbo Tyme! This one is very nice; no way can it stay stock, with the extra 300 lbs and restrictive exhaust manifold on a little 1.3 motor. It cries out for a swap! Might have to sell the Subaru to finance it--the Aspire has A/C, and I can put snow tires on Blue for the winter.

Edit: once swapped and turboed, I will name it The Superegg.

For a rear logo, a nicely painted picture of an egg with a Superman "S" symbol on it. AND a "SUPEREGG" vanity plate! :-) :-)

                    ^^ 1995, and yes, two

Edit: I specifically wanted an SE, which were only made in 94 & 95. Another benefit: in MO there is no emission inspections before OBD-II motors, which began in 1996. Heh heh heh...

Actually, I'M not a big fan of the egg either! But I like the SEs, and Aspires are so much more "luxurious" than Festys. At least this one is. I did sorta plan it, by waiting for the right one to come along. Just luck (and constant checking of Craigslist).

On second thought, I plan to stick a B6 in it and have Greg rear-turbo it. That way I can keep the A/C. I think I can get by with 130 - 140 HP. :-)

Yeah and when you do your engine swap your still going to have to find away around the impact sensors for they are tied in with the engine/light harness.
