So I bought this Celica GTs Just for the factory alloys.

I've been wanting these alloys since 1995 when I found out that THE BOLT PATTERN IS THE SAME AS A STOCK FESTY! I just always loved theses factory alloys. All I need now is to mount the bolts I bought through the brakes to bolt the stock, wheel specific nuts to. Jack of festar and f-1.3 fame is helping me. Im looking forward to having lug nuts instead of lug bolts! He has done the bolt swap on his F-1.3. This was just a good excuse to do it. Of course I will have to buy lower profile tires also.

"new alloys" was kind of a play on words in this case, lol. Are you going to just clean them up or are you going to get them powder coated? They would look pretty cool powder coated gunmetal gray.
Neat wheels though either way.

The ones that are on it rub for sure! Not sure what I'll get to fit. It has a 205 70 14 on it now.

I love those wheels too!!! One of the best looking "stock" wheels ever imo. Ihad a 83 celica with those and now own 2 conquests and they look similar.. Keep us posted.

Cool! I forgot but yeah I noticed the conquests wheels looked similar too. As far as stock wheels go I basically only like the celica/supra rims and... get this... chevy rally wheels.

Anxious to see these babies cleaned up and a lower profile tire on there. I'd say at the moment there are rubbing issues. Damn near touching the fender and the jack is still there. :shock:

Think they'll be sweet when all is said and done. :thumbleft:
