  • My dream Vw Truck & Ford Travelwagon.!

I have wanted this Vw ever since I was a kid.EXACTLY this vehicle.I am bidding on it,so,wish me luck, but, they usually go for a lot.

...and this is what my dad had as a kid.I really thought it was ugly when I was a kid, but, now I can appreciate it and I do.We use-to go camping in it all the time and I had the cot in the pop up.

Those are great. Lots of buses of course in cali but those models are rare everywhere. My uncle who passed away early this year had a red VW. It's been 20 years since ive traveled up there and seems almost heartless to call my aunt just to hit up his old vehicles...or is it?

Hey Tony! Good luck with it. I hope you get it! I'm a VW lover myself! I've always been crazy over the Beetle.

I had a '76 sunroof Beetle back in '97 but had to sell it when I got laid off. I then pined away away about having another one until I finally bought my '73 Super Beetle in '08.

I've got pics of it on my cardomain page if you want to take a peak.

Let us know how the bidding goes on the VW truck!

hey Tony, if you get the veedub, slap in a corvair engine from a spyder, the sound it makes is worth the effort (and the power's not bad either)

Interesting how many Festiva fans I've met are also VW & Econoline afficianados!

Focustiva: Because I was told it was was impossible to fit a Focus bumper on a Festiva.

that'll be a gas engine there John, it's too early for the boxer diesel.

No, the vans had an optional 1.6L diesel powerplant.
Same engine as in the VW Rabbits, '77-84, I think.
Don't think it was called a "Boxer diesel".
