Just curious why you didn't leave the impact bar on the body and pull on it?Last edited by Mike McKown; 10-08-2009, 08:54 AM.

We did this to my high school car ('86 Chevette) after I hit someone and pushed the right side back.
The only variation was we used a chain tied around a tree and kept putting the car in reverse and popping the clutch.
It worked though!www.cardomain.com/id/jermnc77

Down south here it's often a truck/car/tractor, a chain & a tree to do the job!
I like your solution with the big ratcheting strap.
Focustiva: Because I was told it was was impossible to fit a Focus bumper on a Festiva.

I've used a telephone pole and a tree in the past. In fact, once was on a red gen 1 MR2!90 Festy (Larry)--B6M (Matt D. modified B6 head), header, 5-speed, Capri XR2 front brakes, many other little mods
