  • 12" Rim Suggestions-Pics

Just checking to see what everyone's thoughts are on this. It took me about 45 minutes for one rim. I used a corded drill and a few different wire wheels. What should I do to keep them from rusting right away? Clearcoat? I sprayed WD-40 on it for now just to keep the rust off until I get a warmer day to clear or paint. If this doesn't turn out I will just paint them black. First is before and second is after. Let me know what you think. Thanks.

Good job! Come do mine! :p

I vote for black paint and (if you can find some) chrome trim rings.

Charcoal grey. Make sure to clean them with some good solvent because wd-40 will make the paint bubble.

          Great Job!
2nd the removal of the WD40.
It's great at keeping the water at bay, but will cause issues with paint, if not completely removed.
