    Anyone know what tranny this is ?

    You have numbers showing 1990 and a 1991

    Do the last 7 serial numbers match any of the parts cars you are parting out.

    Look like a Festiva Transmission from the pictures out of a 1990 and 1991.


    Two transmissions?

        I think it is part of nubian starship hyperdrive. The parts can be very expensive.

          Just a guess, but the "4M" gave me the idea it was a four speed. From a Festiva?

            ^ That's not a 4, it's a * (star) just like the one at the end of the number. Those numbers are the last part of the VIN of the car the trans was originaly in.
            The L = 1990
            The M = 1991

            Either way, it would be a 5-speed. If both those numbers are on different parts of the same case, then they must have used two different trans to make one good one.

                  With the way second gear came out of the 1991's in the fleet down the alley, It could very well be two halves to make a whole! That or the case wear problem on the passenger side shaft seal. Just two possibilities...
