It was a long story of debt and favors. I helped my friend move several festivas a couple of states away. I borrowed my dad's truck and trailer to do it. The heater core went out on the truck and we broke the back glass hauling a riding mower. My buddy had lost his job and couldn't pay for the glass. He was supposed to fix the heater core (huge job he offered to do) and didn't. He owed me $120 for gas too. So I'm giving him a B6 and paying my dad for the glass and heater core job that my dad had to do. I helped on the heater core but not much. So I got the GTX.
It doesn't look to be in that bad of shape. Does it have alot of rust? It seems like it would be worth rebuilding.
Not much rust. My friend just took it apart to rebuild it. Everything is good and there. I just want the B6T. I may go crazy and pay somebody to make my festiva AWD but that's probably a pipe dream. If I rebuilt it it may sell for $2000 - $4500 but who knows how much I would spend getting there.
sortof ashame to see such a nice car get used for 'parts', but w/o an engine it would make for a great BP+T AWD GTX for someone as a project.
