  • Non-Festiva Artwork

Thought I'd post this art since we're all die-hard Motor-Heads.
I did this painting a couple years ago, with pastels & Prismacolor pencils.

If you have to ask what car THIS is... then there's no hope for you! LOL!!

Focustiva: Because I was told it was was impossible to fit a Focus bumper on a Festiva.

I guess there is no hope for me. What kind of car is this? Sure doesnt look like a festiva to me. Just joking lol. I love the artwork, I just wish I could work with paints and pastels. All I can do is pencil and maybe a little of color pencils.

            I appreciate the compliment.

You CAN! The only one you have to convince is yourself! I only got the courage to start doing color drawings within the past 4 years. I loves my Prismacolor pencils! Expensive, but worth it.

The reference photo I used was indeed of a kit car. Because of that, you will notice that I didn't paint a "427" badge on the fender nor the "Cobra" logo on the hood. That would have been sacrilege.

I do have several pieces of my art for sale on ArtistRising.com. And as you said about being hungry, it's a good thing I have a day job! LOL! Besides, if I HAD to produce art for a living, I know I'd hate it. As it is now, the art is a fun distraction from building & troubleshooting robotics all day.
