    Video Here:
    http://www.youtube.com/v/g1WyvHPZy6Y

Over a year ago I bought a Knight Rider light bar to install on my Toronado. Due to absolutely no way to get wires into the car (at least no easy way), I gave up and attached it to my desk. Today, I removed it from my desk, because it was time to put it on a car.

I started by figuring out where I would mount it. I wanted it in the grill, but there was no way that would work without heavy modification. Instead, I mounted it in the bumper... With five zip-ties. It actually sits lower now and pointing straight out, but these pictures will do.

If you notice, each plastic support in the bumper lines up PERFECTLY with the space between each pair of lights. It could not have been easier to install, unless it just jumped up there on its own and zip-tied itself on.

I put the control box inside the glove box, drilled a hole in the back for the wires, and zip-tied the wires in place so they would not be hanging everywhere. I may install a switch later so that I can leave the dial on a set speed and just turn it on and off.

For power, I tied it in to the power inverter wires, since I didn't want to run even more wires into the engine bay.

What do you think? And am I the first one to do this to a Festiva? I searched here and found nothing, so I am thinking so.

you might want to fix the crooked fog light before you install the smoke screen or the rocket boosters

I scribbled it out... I don't like the font, so I made it go away. Pictures always make it show up, but in real life, you can't tell anywhere near as easily.

Yeah, those things need to be JB Welded and aligned. The original application of attaching them won't work, and the lag bolts I used have nothing to bite into, so they aren't tight.

And I already have smoke screen. You activate it by pushing the gas pedal all the way down... I use it on people who don't let me on the freeway .

Yours is definitely NOT the first Festiva with that feature.

I found the same problem with mounting fog lights on the bumper that you have found. That's why mine ended up down below where your marker light row is.

Going to have to agree with Skimsucka on this one. I would check about having the red 'flashing' lights on the car, could be trouble. I like the idea tho, just not sure if they're legal or not.

Having said all that, I like your car. Kind of looks like the twin to mine.

Thanks for everyone's concern; I am pretty sure that this is correct, since red = emergency, I could be ticketed. Of course I might get away with it once, but for now I plan on using it mostly when the car is parked, or in the daytime when it is not even noticeable. It can probably stay on for quite a while when the car isn't running, since one 9V battery will run it for over 6 hours.
