  • My Parts cars days are numbered..

I'm getting closer to being finished with taking parts off my parts car, today I removed the dash and wiring harnesses, and the steering rack. Don't worry as you can see in the pics this car was a rusty pile.. and not worth saving IMO..

The car made it to 311xxx miles maybe it could have went on longer if it wasn't for rust.. But I will be taking off everything that is still usable off it before it goes to the scrapper.

Wow that was a lot of rust!!

2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor

1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

Ahhh yes... car is in a very familiar "easy to remove stuff on the bottom when rotated 90 degrees" position! Cool! Say is that "expanding foam" insulation in the fender wells?

Focustiva: Because I was told it was was impossible to fit a Focus bumper on a Festiva.

DOH! Of course! Why didn't I think of the duct tape trick?? Listen, we could take a rust-free Festiva & completely cover it in duct tape, since, obviously duct tape doesn't rust! Besides, duct tape is available in "designer colors" now! LOL!

dont forget to grab the rubber plugs out of the spare tire well. for some reason, all of my festivas had at least one busted one.
it'll do the 1/8 in 13.7, spin tires, and make all my drunk buddies giggle.

Hey now, don't be knocking the expending foam, thats good sound deadening. My friend did that in his geo, got rid of alot of road noise AND saved the car from getting that stupid dent near the gas tank filler they all get. I'm considering getting some for my festiva, granted itll add like 10 pounds.
