  • Attempting pics (hopefully I don't mess up)

I figured that I would attempt to show my daily driver. I bought my '93 L two years ago with only 118,000 miles and it now has 137,000. I have been collecting the parts for the aspire swap as well as the following: tilt steering, mud flaps, c-pillar covers, map pockets, power mirrors, center console (added cupholder) and 2 rust free rear hatches with rear defrosters.

I say 2 rear hatches because I also have an '88 L with 207,000 miles that I will be taking pics of. The '88 L is the special one because my grandfather won the car for $1.00 ......that's right ....one dollar. My grandfather had the heart of saint and the luck of one as well. He always told me it came from clean living. I am hoping to take the pics this weekend and post them asap.

So here are some pics of my '93 L .........

The color is suppose to be Aqua......It doesn't look like aqua to me. I have rust issues by the rear wheel wells that I have to take of. If you look at the driver side ...you can see the famous duct tape patch at the bottom. Other than that the car is rust free (that I know of)

Brian what did I do wrong that you had to fix the pics? And thank you for fixing them...............

Whats the paint code on that? Should be on the driverside door jam.

it's been painted. theres no door frame black trim.

I don't know if the car was repainted or not but the paint code is "SE" and according to my manuel...... Aqua Solid.

For some reason the pics make the car look green....but when you look at it in person the color looks like a very soft blue.
