Will be posting some pictures of cars located in 109 U-PULL-IT 3459 Thomasville Rd. Winston-Salem, NC and Pull-A-Part 4125 N. Patterson Ave Winston-Salem, NC

Sam.1956 and myself were at these yards Saturday.

They have 4 Aspires and 1 Festiva.

The price I was given is 150.00 to 200.00 for the Aspire swap items and I must remove the parts.

The cars are not in a great location to remove needed axles etc.

May have a deal to buy all 4 Aspire swaps and they will transport all 4 cars out to a area were the items can be removed.

Looking like 125.00 each times times 4 cars for 500.00 will get the swaps.

Price could may go to 150.00, but still trying to hammer out the deal.

Problems is once they bring the cars out, they may just crush them after the axles are removed.

So I would hope anyone needing doors etc from these cars would contact me.

Maybe a deal could be made for the other parts..

They also have 2 non turbo Capri cars.

Man... I wish the yards around me had Festivas in that kind of shape. The ones around me have been rolled and just abused. I really need a couple of windshields, but shipping would probably kill me.

At the Pull-A-Part This Aspire had a gold hood.

I hear stories that there was a Gold Festiva made but never have seen one.

I guess there was a Gold Aspire?

If anyone wants them for that I will see if I can get them while there.

As for the Aspire axles at the 109 U-Pull-It , that will be lots of work to remove.

Anyone wish to meet up and go pull them all the week after Christmas if they are still there?

I could buy a couple of them if someone will buy the rest.

The 109 price for the entire swap I think will run under 150.00 if a deal can be made.

They are not turbo's....the axles are different I believe

I asked about the transmissions and 109 wants 250.00 each.

Think that is way to much for a junk yard trans unless it was a turbo car one.

These cars don't have turbo engines.

Pull-A-Part has much better price on engines or transmissions.

Still hope to hear from anyone that would like to go pull the Aspire swap parts.

To get the best price we needed to buy the swaps from all 4 cars at the same time.

Still going to try get all 4 for 125.00 each.

109 is open only till around 11:30 or 12 on Saturdays.

Best to go during the week.

Will be able to go the week of 12-28 / 12-31 if this place is open all that week.

Dean-You were in my neck of the woods. I work about a mile from Pull-A-Part, at the airport. That's the first Festiva they've had. I was just there about a month ago,looking for a BP. I'm afraid of the ones they've got, since the cars are not wrecked. I'm in no hurry tho. I also went to 109. They had 6 festivas this spring,and had been there quite a while. They crushed them all. they had some good stuff on them, but their prices are just too high. I can't understand why they want so much for stuff that does not add much weight and will not make a big difference when they sell it. I did get the LX hatch latch off the one that's there now. And the badge. I see the mirrors are gone. They were there then. Maybe they went to Raleigh?
