  • Tin_Can weekend progress

So I got some things accomplished this weekend and I thought I would share:
Yes I know the car is filthy its been nasty on the roads for the past week.
I made my own hood pin cables - cost 0 dollars - leftovers laying around

I tried the vinyl dye paint for the first time - all in all I think it turned out pretty good - I'll let you know how it holds up since its in a high traffic area. The drivers door looks back because the metal in the top of the panel is all wavy - this will change when I build custom panels.

I finally got around to installing the aspire master and booster on the festy - I'm ammazed at the pedal response simply from the larger booster - I have yet to swap the brakes yet - but all with time. It's purely funtional right now I need clean up some displaced wires and fix the bends and routing of the lines.

One day I will fix this - its the signal wire for the tach - mine was not in the plug for the dash - I hate scotch locks

you know there is a plug in for a tach signal on that harness... follow the coil wires like 6 or 8 inches down and there will be a little square plug thats just hanging there, it will be a yellow with green tracer on it... thats the tap in for your tach

        looks good

Yeah when I fix it I plan on running the wire in the harness to the cluster then split it from there - its strange my 92 has the tach wire in the cluster but the Tin_Can a 91 does not.
