its just on the right side, never seen one w/both faded at same time lol I think this car will be cool to fix up. I've got 3 vehicles that are Red & I've got red hair so Needless to say I'm getting tired of That color :p. White on a Festiva is Kind of a Euro, sporty look in some weird way haha I never new that A/C was an option on any L cars though Until I seen a Red one in the Boneyard the other day & then this white one. Got the Alabama Title Today & Found out that its a 1992. The Guy that I bought it from was Nice enough to let me run it through the carwash, while still on the trailor, before delivery...It was nasty! Next up will be getting it in my Shop & Pulling this Crusty motor/Trany Out!

Wow, Its 2011 & I Finally Got tired of staring at the Festiva Setting in the Driveway so I finally got this thing pulled in the shop w/gas prices on the climb it needed to happen. I got this white car & the Green car for the $400 for the pair w/plans on fixing the white one & using the green as parts.
After getting it in the shop it was'nt getting any fuel...Pulled the Fuel pump & it was Rusted to S@#$ Level sender was stuck too so pulled the pump from parts car & looked perfect... Wala Fuel gauge started working again & was getting fuel up top.
After messing w/the timing a bit I got it to fire up but it was banging fairly bad...not a rod but more like a Valve...I thought these engines were Non-Interference? The Timing belt cover was Removed so whoever ran this car before this was for sure why they parked it. Looks like I'll be pulling the Head off the Parts car & swapping them out & see what happens... I Know I have the New engine still but I think I'll just find an aspire to drop that one into since its complete & ready to drop in...I'll just get this festiva Running off of the parts car I have until I Find an aspire.
Here's the day I went to Pick them up...I'll get some More current pics up shortly... I can't believe i've put this thing off for so long

If I were you, Justin, I'd still consider putting that nice new Aspire engine into a Festiva. The lightweight and roller rockers should make for some nice mpgs!
Karl'93GL "Prettystiva" ticking B3 and 5 speed, backup DD; full swaps in spring!
'91L "AquaMutt" my '91L; B6 swap/5 speed & Aspire brakes, DD/work car
'92L "Twinstiva" 5sp, salvage titled, waiting for repairs...
'93GL "Luxstiva," '94 B6 engine & ATX; needs overhauled
'89L "Muttstiva," now a storage bin, future trailer project
