  • Festiva replacement

The new Fiesta is a nice car, but it's not the same bare-bones lightweight as our Festiva's. I wish Ford would sell the Ka here in the states.

I like that KA. I pulled in to the local ford dealer in the festiva to get info on the fiesta, and a guy came out and said " is that a real fiesta?" i looked and said "Nope but it is a real festiva!" He then asked if i was going to trade in the festiva in a fiesta. I just laughed.

OMG! I think I'm in love! I wonder how hard it would be to get your hands on one of the Ka's sold in Mexico?

I don't like the new fiestas either. All the new little cars coming out is good news (just as long as they keep them around for a while). I like the looks of Chevy Spark and the Fiat 500.

You can get a Ka in Mexico and drive it here and it never go back i guess. However if you try just a little harder there are far more exotic cars available I would try to bring home.

That 3 door hatch looks the same as a 2000 focus zx3 on the side, I don't see how its so much better, especially if they put in powerplants you cannot get here.

Has Fiat's quality gotten any better over the years? I owned a 124 Spider that was a total money pit

I would hope so. I read that Fiat has back orders on the 500, so I would think that it must have.

From what I've heard, the quality of the new 500 is pretty good. It was designed to compete in the same market as the Mini. Since Fiat owns Chrysler now, I hear the new 500 platform may be imported under a Chrysler badge. Just hear-say right now.
