I would keep the pink stripes. Makes it that much more of a sleeper.

Well, I've been busy on the car. I took the filthy interior out. The carpet was too nasty to even try to clean. The seat covers were dirty and torn up. I stripped of the seat covers off the seats too. I sprung for a new carpet. I also got a full set of seat covers and panels from FestivaGTX. Cant wait to install them. First things first though. I want to get the dirty work done first. The dash will have to come out to swap in the BP ECU.

Thats always fun. I think a few people have replaced the ECU without removing the dash. Dont know how though.

I can do it no problem with the dash and cluster in place. It's easier if you take the cluster out. This allows you to pick up on the ecu.

Festiva's had the widest range of pinstriping/graphics, I wonder if most of them were done at the factory or dealership. I know some dealers add graphics to try to move the cars better.

I haven't had to pull a dash on any of my cars. I set the seat all the way back and down, and lay inverted with my head near the pedals. Installing the remote starter on the Vibe was interesting though. you have to be REALLY confident with a soldering iron to tin a splice directly above your face.

One of the few times outside of cutting/grinding/O-A I've felt a need for safety glasses.

A Hello Kitty decoration would complement the pink stripes nicely.
