yeah he gave me a 323 cable tranny with it cause it can hold a bigger clutch. is that a g-series tran? he said it has lsd. it has stock civic hatch suspension in it but it is way to soft for what i like. and when you get on it, its all over the road haha.

It's prolly an f-series. Better than what's in there though. And you need to put stiff suspension under it and it'll help. Also bigger wheels will help too. Take that car to the track and let's see what it really does.

how strong are these trannies? is the f-series any good or should i just look for g-series?

im thinking about picking up slicks and with a good clutch, its gonna be putting a lot of stress on the drivetrain.

wow good find! i saw that same festiva multiple times on the forum come up (just people posting about it, i dont think anyone here actually owned it). its one of the cars that helped me make the decision on a bpt build (in progress). good find brother, and yes listen to these guys you are going to get a better tranny. the g series is the most desirable found on the escort gt, the 323 gt, and capri xr2, not 100% on the others i know there are a few more. but that stock b series wont hold up for ever. good thing is the trannys are pretty cheap (their normal to everyone else but perfoemance to us haha). anyway welcome to the site again and that that is on e bad ass mazda 121

if theres a punny f series in that car i feel bad for you. i would look into finding a kia G series, its a hydraulic trans but its the stongest of them all

Does it have a halfshaft? If it does its a g-series.

its some sort of metallic green. the paint job really wasnt all that great but hey, it makes the car so much more awesome haha. i get more looks in this than in my cousins tt rx7
