Picked up a new log splitter today Got 8-10 large oaks on the ranch that need harvested. Hope this will make the job easier. Seasoned oak firewood sells for about $175 a cord so hopefully it wont take long to pay it off next fall.
In between 12 hours of work and several errands including getting the A/C charged in Diva I got the splitter assembled and on the tractor. Still lacking the hydaulic lines. Hopefully tomorrow if time allows. Then Ill post a demo vid. Its works in horizontal and vertical positions.
Nice!
Is it a dual acting cylinder or single (faster speed until hit hits the log or same speed the entire stroke for those less hydraulicly knowlegable)?
