FINALLY got to pull my engine and tranny..

my Festy has been sitting for a couple months now....half taken apart waiting for me to have time and hoist to finish the repairs (tranny finally decided to stop working). So yesterday it was not raining and I had the time...sooooooo...I got it to wear I had nothing left to do but hoist it out of the car....called my brother in law to borrow his truck and found out he was at Slipperyrock College for my niece. Left a message and waited. He finally got back to me and told me to get it whenever I wanted....by the time he called back it had started to drizzle...I said the hell with it and got the truck anyway....









it rained harder and harder and I got soaked but I wanted it done so I kept going till it was out and back in the car. Had to swap the tranny and tranny pan because the one going in had a hole in it. Wasn't prepared for the so I hope there is no leak....heading out now in between the rain to finish hooking everything up so it will be ready for work tomorrow....woo hoooo!

Kudos for working in the rain, too. I've been to the 'yard in the rain, but I'm too lazy and domesticated to do much else unless absolutely necessary.

well it started raining while I was already working on the car and I didn't feel like stopping...lol.

now today was a different story....I almost finished but the thunder and lightning and the cool wind that started blowing told me....its time to clean up NOW! I was walking in the door as it started raining...HARD.

Will have to wait and finish Tuesday now....to much going on Monday

well....the rain stopped and I got back to work on it.....glad to say, I WILL BE DRIVING IT TO WORK TOMORROW.....WOOO HOOOOOO!

Runs great....shifts great....even down shifts when I hit the gas.

I was loving it the moment I pulled out of the drive to take it for its test drive!

Even peppier then it was before. I think the other tranny was slipping more then I knew.

No leaks I can see....but it was dark when I finished....I will have to see if it marks its territory tomorrow at work. It has been marking a lot of the spots .....hopefully I have broke it from that....lol.

I do not have an AC compressor....not sure where you guys got that idea....
