You can really see that header through the grill, can't you? Like you said elsewhere, I wonder how long it will stay white.

Take it back to the back porch, join the 3 string revolution.

      Day-yamm!

Isn't there a fashion rule about not having white headers after Labor Day?

DJ, do you sandblast most of your engine parts and then repaint them? Like the water pump inlet and bypass pipes, the valve cover, etc?

There's several older B6s in the cheapyard near me. One-hundred if I take them out; $150 if they take them out.

I'm tempted to buy one and start learning to rebuild it for my poor Mutt.

B6s are addictive!! Just ask my right foot.

You should look into powder coating the header, it looks great!

One more question DJ, what size are your exhaust manifold bolts and nuts? They look like 14 mm! Did you enlarge the holes/studs or something or is this just an optical illusion?

yeah I had a few snapped off bolts I had to drill out and tap. But I also put 14mm nuts on the studs save for 1 where the weld prevents it

hopefully I'll have the b6t car ready by then.. But if it's not or if fuel is over 2.00 it's more than likely.
