  • My newer toy

Took the other splitter back because the valve leaked and didnt work properly. So I upgraded to this one. This one wont tie up the tractor and put hours on it. Plus this one should be cheaper to run.

One hand operation, had the camera in the other.

Nice. The festiva should be able to pull it with ease.

Funny, I had the festiva hitch out earlier. Not sure why Id take it somewhere but its nice to know you could. I towed it with the van today. Had gone about 15 miles at 70 MPH. Stopped for gas and felt the wheels just to be checking, one was hot. Bought some bottled water and cooled it down and drove on home. Got home and pulled the grease cap, dry !! Added wheel bearing grease no damage done fortunately. Guess that slipped by the installer. Pulling it with the van I couldnt even see it. Was glad to see it was still back there when I arrived home.

awe! That little thing is cute! I wish I had picks of the one my dad had for decades... 8ft long, 4in piston, Briggs 18hp twin, 10 gal fluid res with cooler, front spindles off an old Chevy truck (1940's!), all built on a 8in wide by 10in tall 3/4in beam. That thing was freakin' HEAVY!! It was also responsible for severing my left index finger!!

^ I think you meant Ah not awe , but yeah, its milded mannered and safe for little children with 10 fingers. Heck, I let the wife use if tonight and didnt have to tell her a thing. This one does have an eight gal tank ( the whole frame is a tank) and a 4 1/2 cyclinder on it. 190 cc honda motor. Beats the old splitter on a stick ( maul ) Ive been using. My grandpa had his right thumb pulled off by a bucking horse. Might have slowed him down some but never was a handicap.
