  • Look what the rain did the other day (big pics)

Had some crazy rain a couple days ago. Went geocaching with my gf yesterday and saw this down the road from a cache location. There were a couple guys and a woman in one of those 4 wheeler golf cart things and a guy on a 3 wheeler in the driveway, Im assuming the guy in the driveway was the womans husband. She was trying to get home and well, couldnt.

Went back today and took some pics. The road wasnt actually GONE yesterday, was quite shocked to see just how much it had washed away.

Figured I might as well get some shots of my dirty festy posing in certain doom.

Also got a couple videos just to give an idea of how much water was moving.

And on a road in a nearby village.

Where was that at Brad? Judging by the "paper box" and newspaper I'd say Michigan.

      Was that up around Medina?

I was out by Canadagua yesterday and there was a dirt road that was covered with water for about 1/4 mile. Started going thru it but towards the far end the water was flowing like in your vid. Ended up backing to the first driveway and taking an alternative route.

Good guess. Its Lowe rd, just east of munson hwy. I came thru Medina and found the second flooded over road.

Friday when we got all the rain I helped Donny get his aspire home. Backroaded from Jackson to Adrian. THAT was a trip. The highlight of the night however was when I was headed home on 34 just short of 156 and hit a completely flooded portion of the road at full speed. Couldn't see it. Needless to say I came to a complete stop rather quickly haha, it wasn't just the brakes slowing me. Oh yea and when I pull out of the water there's the high water sign. Go MDOT...
