Thanks! Really been thinking about selling my 89' Festiva, and then doing a full rebuild on my 93' shell that I have, do a BP swap on it, maybe add a T to that We'll see what happens!

Not to be a downer but my buddy bought one new. He drove it to just over 100,000 and had to start dumping $ into it. Maybe $1500

As I recall, these Hyundais have interference engines, so keep an eye on that timing belt....they have a great warranty. Hoping yours never needs it!

I call dibs on your spoiler, wheels, and grill
if it comes down to you selling it. Which we all hope not to see.

Even if I did get rid of both my festivas for now, I would still keep my spoiler, wheels, grill, FMS strut brace, all that good stuff. Because if I sold them, I'd come back later for sure! I'm pretty sure that I will be selling my 89' and keeping my 93' shell to do a full rebuild/engine swap on like I had mentioned earlier

Got it inspected today, passed Just have to get it plated and insured now. Days of daily driving a festiva will be over, and I'll just have one project car. When it's done I'll just drive it for fun on weekends and stuff.

Cool! Congrats on the new car, it will be far more comfortable than the Festiva. 3M makes a great headlight lens polishing kit. For less than $20 you can make them look like new.

Well, I don't think you'll like that one anywhere near as much as a Stiva, but they seem to be fairly reliable cars. My Mom's got a 99 with way over 200K miles, never needed anything other than routine stuff. Good luck with that one.
