You can also grab an Escort console from the JY that will work. Here are two kinds:

90 Festy (Larry)--B6M (Matt D. modified B6 head), header, 5-speed, Capri XR2 front brakes, many other little mods
09 Kia Rondo--a Festy on steroids!

thanks guys, those escort consoles are awesome! i really gotta get some junkyard raiding in soon

there isn't really much rust, just a tiny bit around my lock on the driver door from where it has been chipped really bad, and a little over one of the wheel wells.

i'm soon hoping to limo tint the back windows, get a new console, and either new rims or paint the ones i have (i'd like to find chrome beauty rings if i do, no clue where to get them though)

Post a [WTB] thread in the fs/wtb section and someone will have the beauty rings you want, and well just about anything else you could want.

OEM stands for- original equipment manufacturer

Did you remove the little cubby area like Steve did? I bought one just like that but cut everything out except the cup holders and put it in between the cubby and the shifter

Right right I was just referring to what I did. I cut the $5 cup holder from walmart. You should be able to get a cubby pretty easily also.
Here are some pics. It's not much but it gets the job done! I only had a hand saw soooo the edges are a bit rough haha.

and here is a pic being in 1st (so you can still fit your polar pop without the shifter hitting the drink!)
