got my first festi last week (FINALLY) they are kinda hard to find at a good price. picked it up for $300. found some receipts for a 4 wheel alignment and a tranny r+r with clutch kit from like 18k ago. it's got 148k on it and runs really good. needs some body work that i'll slowly do. haven't had a chance to wash it, just to put in lic plate lights.
    PIC!!!!!

i'm actually a Focus enthusiast (too). i love them. right now i have
2001 Focus wagon, family hauler for now, trying to sell

2007 Focus zx5, kinda beat up cause my bro in law fell asleep and crashed this one too

    1991 Festi L, pic above.....
1972 AMC Hornet wagon (Sportabout), from my gramps

and have had MANY previous cars, including a 2001 Focus sedan (traded), 2007 Focus zx3 (got new, bro in law totaled), 1998 Escort zx2 + other escorts....... the list could go one for days.... the festi i think is #61 or something

i want to just clean the festi up for now. would like to put either focus seats or the zx2 seats in it, but have no idea how......

in the future, idk. my dreams may change. right now i'm thinking (when it dies) a bp swap or a rear engine duratech

Welcome! Looks like the front end should be easy to fix.

Lovin' the Hornet wagon! I had a '74 Gremlin, 304-V8. I've always been an AMC fan.

Welcome! If you do the aspire swap, I think those ZX2 5-spoke wheels would look awesome on a Festiva.

the front looks like iy needs the hood, pass fender. and the header (or whatever it's called)

what's the bolt pattern of the festi? anyone swapped seats? wondering how to do it

i love that hornet, but it spends most of it's time in the garage. it's pretty rough, but the tub looks pretty solid. it's hard to find parts and even harder to want to go and get them. it runs great and is 90% original. the brakes don't work so it sux i can't even take it around the block. it's buried in the garage now, i should have snapped some pics when it was out this year

Wheel lug pattern is 4x114.3. Some people have swapped seats by using the Festiva seat frame and others have made custom brackets.

Not sure what you mean about a doorstep section--a section for newbies maybe? Anyway, the News and Support section has a list of rules, but that's about it. There is also a sticky on rules in the For Sale section, on how to list things for sale or wanted.
