No need for a fast festiva when you've got that beast. Very nice! I love the color.

I hear big bugs hit your face a lot harder at 170 mph, too! As do the little ones. Not to mention birds.

be easy on her. You should never hit that much speed on a bike you havent had time to double check all the nuts and bolts. Please say you had all your gear on.

Tires are half of price and install at a shop close to my house. I went monday to get tires on my dad's bike and spent $156 for front and back installed!
Going today to put 2 new ones on this one just because of the sale, plus I need a better riding jacket with more protection.

By gear i mean helm, jacket, and gloves are a must. The number 1 injury on a bike is foot/ankle. So boots are another big must. Pants are the most over looked part of gear.

I went down in town at 20 mph and had a spot of road rash about the size of a baseball. I didnt slide at all. So pants wont cut it.

Please say this is not your frist bike.

Dont get us wrong the bike is awesome but you must respect the machine... 100 mph in first gear you have to respect that..

I know what you mean by gear. I ordered my new jacket and helmet today when I got my front tire installed at dealer. Bought gloves and riding boots too. The pants I wanted were too small, so Im gonna look around for some.
This is'nt my first bike. I consider myself pretty dang good on a bike "at" speed, Its the fact that this one gets there MUCH quicker than my 600cc bike did.
I respect bikes and the fact it only takes a pebble to send you sliding/flipping into traffic/woods.
Only reason I got that fast is to see if it would, and it did. I havent been over 85mph since till I get my riding gear from dealer next week.
And I also understand that there are 2 kinds of riders.
