You beat me to the use of the "great stuff".... I bought a couple cans of this stuff a while back for the exact same use, and never got around to using it. Does it seem to firm up hard enough to give the feel of it being a solid panel? The normal is not always normal... MOST is not ALL... And any job can be hard if you don't have the right tools!!!

Sorry for the delayed response Doylerl must have missed that post update Ya it worked out good there is no spongy feel to it but I didn't wail on it or anything to test it- just kinda pushed on it to see how sturdy it was. I just made sure the foam filled all the way to the back of the inside metal & had no air pocket behind it Great minds think alike! Make sure to post some pics if you end up Great Stuffing your repair I love to see Red Green ingenuity :tongue3:

Got a new hat that goes w/ the car This is my first Ford hat ever I come from a long line of Chevy lovers but I swear this little car has won me over....Ford not taking a bail out also did earn them a lot of respect tho too. Wanted to get this hat when I first saw it at beginning of hunting season but when I went back after payday all of them were gone But I walked by all the hunting goods on clearance now & found this last one So good things do come to those who wait......I got this hat for $7 (50% off) & I found this Festy after passing up many Geo Metro's last summer in my hunt for a reliable gas saving ride

I'm digging on those door panels!!! Looks good. I think we have the same seat covers. Tho, yours look a little better off than mine. They are now in their 3rd vehicle.
Looking good, keep at it!!

Well I've added the power mirrors I got from Stefan (thanks again dude!), installed a Escort dome light, added some camo accents under the door handles/gas door, did a custom rebadge on my new style grill & got a cool new seat belt style Ford key ring at one of the coolest flea markets around Traders World up in OH. I've added all the pics of the finished products/works in progress in my album/profile.
Seemed easier to just give an album link than post a bunch of pics 2 at a time. Can't wait for more warm/dry weather to continue the redneck project!

Dave, you bringing your Brown Beauty to Ohiostiva? Get to Cowlumbus by 8am and if DaveG goes, we'll have a three car convoy to go meet the Bridgeport contingent at I77 McDonalds rally point.

One night I almost hit a guy on a Harley because he painted his bike flat black & shaved his side-market lights...this gave me second thoughts about painting my Aspire an ultra-flat camo.
I'm just saying, I've been run over by a semi while driving a bright red mustang. I could only imagine driving a blacked out Festiva. Just saying.

Navdoc101 I got my wheel cover at Wally World if ya are still looking & think I saw it on Cabela's website as well- does seem its sooooooo much easier to find Browning stuff over Mossy. And yes I hope to drive the Box up if I can still go- see Ohiostiva thread for more details. I've been really looking forward to this & riding in a convoy. Who knows maybe I'll just be "sick" if I have a job to call into. Thanks 91_Festy_GL I would like to get some different rims on it along w/ a brake swap but the local PnP wants about $300+ for the parts & they won't even let me pay them to pull em. Think I'll just wait till I can head up back home to WI and get a fair price and have them pull it for me so I'm not climbing around under a car held up by a pile of rims like down here. Tint will be forth coming as well Thanks for the positive feedback guys and as long as the aesthetic upgrades keep coming this thread will still breath :tongue3:
