Sweet looking ride like the sliver stripe "Needs an Escort rear wiper gear and snowflaps." Does the Escort rear wiper gear make the resting position of the wiper at the bottom of the window instead? I've seen pics of the wiper on the bottom and wondered how it was done.

The Escort is just fine. Its been sitting a lot. Still runs like a bat out of heck. Does need some exhaust work. I fire it up every once in a while and drive it for a few days then put it back. No good festivas for sale right now.

I'm curious though... why are you driving this fine looking car in the winter?? Seems like it should be the Summer car instead.

                        I think that's his beater!

The rest of his collection resides in a temperature and humidity controlled, guard dogged, alarmed, smoke free warehouse "somewhere on the back forty."

I like to wash them by hand with a five gallon bucket of hot water with mild dish washing soap, a big soft sponge, rinse, and chamois dry. I try to wax them at least once a year. Always keep them inside too.

Sounds like the life of a multimillion dollar race horse. It must be nice to be a festiva on your ranch.
