Fixed the links here they are:

Did that just happen like that? Or was it taken apart? Looks like the passenger side strut mount ripped out and the rear axle folded up under the car. Hopefully noone was in it when that happened!

I'll take a guess at the story...

Passenger side strut mount (or the strut itself) gave way, so the car was parked. When it was pulled up onto the wrecker the E-brake was still on, and also the passeger side wheel may have caught on something, basically twisting the rear axle 180 degrees (or close to it) from one end to the other, which is why the drivers side is still under the wheel well, but the passenger side. If the car did it under its own power (ie. no help from wrecker) then it would have had to have been going backward pretty fast and hit a curb or something to get the axle to start twisting.

Am I anywhere close?

Snow covered road driver took a turn to fast and spun out. Backing the car into a drainage ditch. Nobody was hurt. Trying to buy the car now lol. What was wrong with the link so I can fix or do it correctly next time. Thanks for fixing it I have alot more pictures I would like to post up. Thanks

You had the link correct but you had the link surounded by too many extra [IMG] codes.

should work fine.

you had:

[IMG][IMG]HTTP://[IMG] HTTP link [IMG][IMG][IMG]

Which does not work.

Buying it for parts, I hope? I would be really worried about body alignment being tweaked too far out of spec, unless you will only be using it for backyard/woods fun, or something similar.

Your welcome!

Size is fine

Don't worry about flaming, you made a reasonable effort to get it right.
Flaming is usually reserved for those who make no effort or don't care how they post.
Your doing fine.

$300 is a bit steep for what is otherwise a scap vehical worth what $100 in scap metal.
But, you know better what can be salvaged from the car.
How rusty are the bottom of the doors and is the hood intact?
Do you know what the color code of the car is?

Eh, I was close, sub in a drainage ditch for my curb and I pretty much nailed it, lol. If the top of the strut tower ripped out that easily (as it appears from the pic) then I'd say there was probably already some serious rust issues anyway. FWIW I wouldn't give more than $200 for the car as a parts car, which is still probably close to double what they can get out of it at the scrap yard.

Not sure of the code , but I will check the hood is rusted on the lip but the doors were good when we had it last year. I'll check all that and report back if I buy it.

Yup very close. I think it hit really hard there was no rust and the metal just ripped. Complete car looks twisted must have slid very far. I did notice bold tires and 395000 on the white tach dash.
