I can't imagine driving mine at even 100 MPH. The steering ratio feels fairly slow around town, but when you get up to about 80, the short wheelbase starts to become self-evident. Combine that with the light weight, high center of gravity, brick-like aerodynamics and serious lack of sheet metal and I get pretty nervous! One wrong move and I envision myself rolling down the highway like a pair of dice. I realize that you have some suspension upgrades, but I still wouldn't have the kahunas......well, maybe just once!

It's crazy how a lot of us talk about how unsafe the festy is yet we all still love and drive them!

its so creepy how stability increases with speed... but mine feels the same as you describe... the faster the more stable... my buddies n/a bp swap festy was the same... @120mph it was solid.... maybe it just because we grip the steering wheel so tight at those speeds, fearing death, it feels more stable...

I get alot of wind noise at high speeds it gets so bad that it sounds like the wind is going to blow the windows in. Almost like a helicopter taking off next to the car. The car is plenty stable as long as it is increasing speed. It gets a little sketchy when u left off lol it becomes very touchy to any movement of the steering wheel. I have no confirmation how fast I have been in my car but I'm sure it's all of 130.

yea... my fiero headlight doors were forced open above 120mph and the front end floated enough to understeer a long sweeping turn on I5 at above 140...luckily i was alone on the highway and in the inside lane... came out of the turn in the outside lane... hit rev limiter in 4th(4speed) at 148 or so according to a top speed calculator... it took it all day to get there...
