  • Pictures - About dang time...

Okay, well I've finally had time to take a few pictures while it's still light out!

Here's a short list of the things I have done thus far:

I received my escort dome light in the mail today from Ian (fastivaca) and install that. It doesn't quite sit flush against the roof, but at this point I just need the dang light to work, I'll work on the cosmetics of it at a later date.

I also painted the front grill flat black. I know - Suuuper original, right? Hehehe. I re-wired the stock speakers (because I'm broke!) and installed a Pioneer stereo. Now I have tunes for driving to work! I also replaced the rear left shock. If you pushed on the old one it'd just stay there, wouldn't hardly bounce back at all.

Other than that stuff I've just done some basic maintenance on it - coolant flush, new air filter, checked the plugs, car wash. It was covered in bird poop when I got it, then I washed it, then birds pooped all over it when I was at work. Life's a comedy.

    Thanks Ian!

I think I'm gonna invest in some seat covers until I can swap in some seats in better shape...

Oh, and I saw the badge on the back from the dealership and I figured out my cars name! Thor!

looks to be in great shape!! although it definately needs a bigger engine

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

      Thor! Love it!

With you it's birds, with me it's cats. Seems like they won't go near the cars when they're dirty, but I give them a bath, and all the damned cats have to walk all over the car.

Yours cleans up nice. Think we have the same stereo. That looks a lot like the one I have in Annie.

Now, do something with those wheels.:p

The wheels was going to be my next cosmetic upgrade to the car. I'll probably just spray some fresh silver on there. I'm hoping to do an aspire brake swap someday, so I'll be replacing the wheels when that happens.

I had a huge problem with cats during the summer. Stray cats in the neighborhood all wait until I wash, claybar, polish & wax my Mustang, then they try to jump up on it. I come out in the morning to find the entire hood, trunk and rear quarters covered in white scratches. Luckily, they buff out with Scratch-X. Now I put a car cover on it over night.

            Looks good! I like it!

3M makes a product called Bondo Restore Black. You can use it to freshen up your bumpers and side trim. I've used it and it works great, plus its a easy and cheap mod. Then to finish it off I would add a red pinstripe to the bumpers.

I thought I did that! weird. They showed up as the pictures for a bit, then they just turned to URLs. Oh well.

I was thinking about the EGT seats, it really depends solely on what I can get my hands on. I'm new to the whole junk yard thing, so I only really know of two at the moment. One of which has something like 6 Festys and an aspire though. Hopefully I can get my hands on some brakes

                        Thanks for looking, everyone!
