Congratulations!
IMO, anything more than a B6 swap you definitely need the better suspension and brakes.

As long as you're not running over 100 hp on teeny tiny solid discs and early nineties mushy stock suspension and 12" tires!
The other day I took my new B6 swap in Aqua on a shakedown cruise and even without the right computer (still running the B3 ECU for now), making maybe 73 to 78 hp (just a guess, it's somewhere short of the full 82), my car accelerates so much better and high speeds are scary easy! Glad I have the suspension swap with my extra 10 to 15 hp.
The real good thing about my B6 swap is that I don't have to worry too much about trashing my stock MTX. Not that I'm doing any burnouts, mind you. I need this car to last until I get another one in "long range" shape.
