  • My free Festiva!

Yeah, its a beater. Can't argue with the price though.
Gonna fix her up and do some suspension work. Should be a fun daily driver by summer.

I'm sure I'll have a bunch of n00b questions as I start putting her back together. Thanks in advance for the advice. haha....

    I wouldn't call it a beater!

The car has a decent body and the interior doesn't seem too bad from the pictures.

If it wasn't for all that Oklahoma red dirt wouldn't be to bad. Had a buddy that was from oklahoma I always told him that the red dirt in his blood was his problem :laughing8: Congrats on the find.

Damn I would have to pay a ridiculous amount of money to get a Festiva with a body in as good of a condition as that cars is...

            Damn.

            FREE.

            DAMN!!

            You one lucky boy, Noob!

            That's a nice looking pile o' junk!

Some people would think, "got it free--don't spend any more than necessary to keep it running."

If it were on it's last legs, I'd agree.

You really do need to accord this car the RESPECT it deserves. Don't be tempted to go too cheap on this baby. Open up that wallet and show your free car a good time!

Thanks, yeah I thought it was a good deal too.

Safety guy, the wife will only let me have one project car at a time, so she doesn't know this is at my friends house waiting to get fixed.
Yes, I'll do the right thing and take it back to stock looking, but with a bunch of suspension goodies from FMS. I've already bought a battery and tune up items, and am bidding on a driver's side turn signal on egay. Once she's running (hopefully by next weekend) it'll be time to jack her up and see what the roadkill did to the front end.

Man that is a clean shell to get something good working up. That is exactly what I will be looking for when I get back.

There is not a single festiva in the state of North Dakota with that nice of a body. I saw one sell for a $1000 a month ago that didn't look that nice. I would kill for a nice festiva like that.

You cant find a Festy with that straight of a body around here either, I think I've seen about 1 or 2. Dont think mine is even that straight, great find. Great car. Hope to see this ride as FF.com's FOTM. Welcome
