Festiva fuel door that I shaved the lock off and welded in a blank (making two of them, one for my festy one for another member on here)

This is a festiva I saw prolly 2-3 weeks ago, in Moberly, MO. Was wondering if it was anyone from here?! Since it is aspire swapped and looks like it's taken care of, thought it was neat seeing one with a swap (first one I've seen in person besides mine

Here's pics of the project car I'm working on at school, fresh from the booth after colorsanding, polishing, and glazing it. I based and cleared the front clip and pass side door on it. Turned out great, and I'm getting way better at my spraying, teacher told me that I'm really getting the hang of it now and I could've done that without him in there giving me pointers  We had two others in the both painting who are also on the car and he kept having to give them pointers, I was the last to paint and listened to what he told them and everything went awesome.

Nice work on the lock shave. I've got the factory gas popper leaver but I'm happy there is still a lock on the door. Sometimes the popper ices up

I know I'm not that close, but I would love to have you do a fuel door for me. It's a nice job you've done there. If you'd be up for that, I may just see into what shipping would be. I have no intention on leaving mine with the standard lock on it.

Some pics of my fuel door. I just took some metal tape and taped the hole and bondo'd it. Used a magnet to hold the door close so I just push on the opposite side and it pops open.

Mine will be flush on the backside too, so it looks completely factory.

Mine was last minute to get it to fm4 with a gas door lol. Still holding strong. Would have like to make it better but it gets the job done. Just had to delete that hideous key hole lock thingy!
