  • How to Make a Festiva Look Big...

Park it next to the smallest car you have ever seen of course...

Its an early 60-something Austin Mini Moke. Apparently someone thought the tiny car needed to be smaller and shortened it a couple feet. The wheel track and wheel base are the same. Cant wait to test drive it. I bet it will be all kinds of stable.

I like my new bumper 1000% better than the old one. Thanks to all the great ppl at Festiva Madness for the parts to help me rebuild.

I've sketched what I'd like to have for Raltiva (long time off yet). I've thought up bull bar setups like yours. Yours is far better. That is just pure awesome right there!

Did the mach 1 come as a covertible? It has the 351 2-valve and is slow as hell. Looks nice but thats about it.

Hmmm... yeah, I'd drive one. Oh, and for that thing, a "crazy fast" motor would probably be something like a Ninja 250 motor lol. Even then it'd be hard to keep traction, mostly just spin spin spin I like it though, sent it to my sis and she is now looking for one for sale. She's always wanted a "baby jeep" lol. And resuwrecked that is one awesome looking festiva! Love the big fat wheels and tires, reminds me of my old CRX when I was running 195/60s on 15" Saturn steelies. Very tough looking
                  No festiva for me ATM...

No, fastback only. I think the hood may have been an option on all models, but I'm not sure. A snorkle hood like that with the factory push & twist pins is worth a fair amount. It may be slow now, but the 2-barrel Cleveland has a ton of potential with just some minor warming over....the Cleveland heads flow a lot better than the 302W/351W .

it has an edelbrock 4bbl and intake and sounds like a cam too. probably a mismatched cam is the culprit. Yeah the owner thinks its a real mach 1, has the decals and all, oh well.

Probably still 8.5:1 compression with too much cam duration, too big of a carb and factory torque converter with a 3.00 rear. The car is fairly heavy as well, but it could be a high 14 to low 15 car and make a good cruiser without much work. Then again, if you're judging it based on your Festy's performance, you're probably expecting too much!

Nice job on the bumper by the way.
