In the past month or so in central OH there have been two nice looking, low miles Tracers for sale. Both are off CL now and I have no idea if they sold or not. Neither was a wagon, though.
Once I get another place to store them I'll be able to buy stuff like that!
Karl'93GL "Prettystiva" ticking B3 and 5 speed, backup DD; full swaps in spring!
'91L "AquaMutt" my '91L; B6 swap/5 speed & Aspire brakes, DD/work car
'92L "Twinstiva" 5sp, salvage titled, waiting for repairs...
'93GL "Luxstiva," '94 B6 engine & ATX; needs overhauled
'89L "Muttstiva," now a storage bin, future trailer project

I would so drop a KL in that wagon then boost it :evil4::evil4:
1988 323 Station Wagon - KLG4 swapped
1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor
1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)
If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

If I ever do get a nice 323 or Tracer worth fixing up, the B6 will go into a Festiva (or as an extra engine) and the larger car will get a B8 or BP.
Actually, the first gen 323 or Tracer wagons would be my preference, followed by the four door Tracer hatchback. Turn one into a B8 or BP powered tow car with extra hauling capacity! Much better than an Aspire because I wouldn't be tempted to rip the suspension off of it.
Now I wish I'd gone to look at those beauties...too many cars--not enough space!

I vote for the BP. There is about 2" more clearance to the firewall, so you can stick it in there without having to bang on the firewall with a large hammer.90 Festy (Larry)--B6M (Matt D. modified B6 head), header, 5-speed, Capri XR2 front brakes, many other little mods

My firewall wasn't banged and I have a BP in. But yes there is more room in the 323 engine bay. And that car would be a blast with a BP! And I bet that selling the stock B6 would be no problem here.youtube.com/neanderpaul 88 festiva LX w/BP G25 MR 5 speed waiting for wiring- 93 Festiva GL auto w/ air, waiting for B6t/G4A-HL - 98 Nissan Quest - 02 Mazda protege 5 wife's DD
