  • 1968 Camaro + prom

first a couple prom pictures from yesterday... =)

And plus the last couple of weeks I've been replacing the clutch in this camaro so I could drive it to prom, Still needs some rust work, and paint, but it sure is fun to drive with the 350/4spd! Plus I put some wheels on it that we had laying around, I really like the looks of them on there!

^I've already thought about that Mike! I've already started to look on craigslist for a parts iroc! LOL I'd like to take the entire drivetrain from an Iroc and put it in there!

              Quite the handsome couple!
Lets me see... 18 years old, beautiful girl on your arm, vintage Camao and a Festiva. Easy to understand that big grin on your face.

I think I would stay old-school..........a nice 383 stroker, 2.02 heads, headers, mild cam, Z28 intake & 650 Holley and a set of gears. Simple, clean & easy without any cutting, fab work or everything involved with converting to EFI. A vintage SBC is the easiest/cheapest thing to build you can find. I'ld keep the slotted mags too, very vintage. If it wasn't a '68 'vert it would be different. Oh yeah, and a set of black (or white) rally stripes on the hood & deck lid. I'm not a Chevy guy, but if I had to own a Camaro it would be a '67 or '68. Cleanest body lines, IMO.
