  • Walked outside, and just had to get a few shots!

Then i got a pic of the dash at that moment. Just so i remembered when.

Then one more from a dfferent angle. This next pic might be the best one i ever took of my festiva.

Something about those trees and the old car with not very many miles. Sure its a daily driver, and i use it to go to and from work every day, plus misc. trips to walmart, or pet shop. All together i usually put 3 miles on it a day. :tongue3:

Could also be the last day i own her. At least she's running the best shes ever been.

I had it listed on Craigslist for 2800$. I didnt really think anyone would respond. But i got a trade option for a 91 ranger that i quickly dismissed.

Then last night a guy messages me about trading for a 2000 Vr6 Jetta 5 speed. All original. 150K miles. If hes serious when he see's my car im totally doing it.

If not, i get to keep my great little daily driver.

This will be a big mistake, you'll regret it. At least let some one interested in festivas (besides mpgs) get it.

The guy who wants to trade used to have a Festiva. 5 speed. But he donated it and regrets it. So he said he was looking for one in nice condition and he came across mine. So the car would go to a person who wants and respects the festiva.

And Greg how do you always find the threads i post lol. Like anywhere on the forum you find it in less than an hr each time lol.

I still want a well built turbo festiva. Just never have any cash to get you to build one.

as much as giving the car to a good home sounds like a good idea, it'll never beas good as what you can give it and a trade for a VR6 isn't a trade unless he's offering cash as well. not a big fan of VWs, but i DEFINATELY dispise the VR cars, total PITA to work on and the parts are never cheap, and CONSTANT coolent leaks.

I've known a couple of people who have owned VR6s. I got to know them pretty well even though we didn't have much in common... meaning that since I'm a mechanic they were always bringing it to me to fix, even though they didn't care about hanging around me otherwise. They ARE a pain to work on, and I can vouch for the coolant leak thing being an issue, particularly nasty down here in the GA summer. Towed one of them a couple of times off the side of the highway after it puked all its green stuff. They're pretty quick though when they're in good shape. So its your call. If it was me I'd stick with the festy though, unless someone offers up a diesel Jetta, those things are wicked awesome on gas for the amount of power they put down, much more comparable to a Festiva than the VR6 in terms of cost of fuel if you drive a good bit.
                      No festiva for me ATM...
