      What are you using as far as hinges? Add anything to strengthen the door?

            comercial grade door hinge from lowes door is supported fine
            1991 stiva.

              to make a mold of the bumper it has to be gel sealed. then you lay on release agent and then lay thick matte on top to make a buck. once the overlay hardens and is reinforced, you then seal the inside of the buck with gell and then start making bumpers!
              Trees aren't kind to me...

                        Why? Then It might as well not be a festiva. That just makes it an uncomfortably small truck that handles like a car. I'd rather lower a ranger and have leg room. At least the "standard" way helps gas mileage and can still haul its share, but still keeps the feel of a festiva.

                          There is no correct way. Its all in the mind of the fabricator. if you seen this cruck or trar in person then you would say diffrent. Its a street truck. Not made for hauling or towing but speed. Once the BPT power plant is installed its going to be a monster.

                          By the way the tailgate is going to be welded for body support.
