  • The LX is home....

Had a great day Saturday to ride out to West Virginia and meet up with Michael (m715). Got a late start because I had to work till 1,,,then drive home in the opposite direction about 45 minutes to get my daughter and granddaughter. Got changed and loaded up....hit the road. Took a little longer with the pee breaks (Izzy) but we got there. Stayed a while too...got the deal done and then went and had pizza. I think Michael got his fill of 3 year olds for a while....lol. Izzy wanted to talk about everything with him and sing songs for him...no break. Think we finally left to head back sometime around 9:30 pm. I got home about 1:30 am and my daughter and Izzy stopped and got a hotel room for the night. Anyway....here are the pics...

Looks really good from a distance but like Michael told me....it needs a paint job. No rust and really straight though. With a LOT of new stuff, including a crate engine with about 1,000 miles on it....I have to check the mileage to be sure. FMS urethane bushing kit for the front...FMS springs...new exhaust , Konigs...with a 5th Konig with new tire on it for a spare. Plus the old rims and tires. A box of extra parts and manuals...and on and on... Interior shot...

    plus......

lol..I added that....was missing when he bought it. Up till then he had never seen one. (took it with me in case it was missing)

Wow... The only downside I see is that it's an automatic. Nice buy!

It is technically the daughters car (for now....lol) and she does not drive manuals. So I had to find a nice one with air and auto. I think this fits the bill.

Wow.. very nice indeed. Reminds me of my 1990, I had the same stripe on the back. I didn't see too many like that back in the day.

                          Enjoy!
