I vote axe, if you ever got robbed, I'd rather loose an axe than my rifle.
That paint job looks awesome though!
You should paint just the "Tracker" Emblem White....... Maybe haha

I like it. If you do the axe you might have room to mount a metal gas can holder. If you could get enough room though, I'd vote for the gun rack. Making me miss mine!

Stop getting youth rifles and buy a 5.56, 270, 30-06, 30-30, 308...... LOL. I have a marlin 60 semi, I like it, ammo's cheap! I think you would be happy with an AR. And the tracker would be happy with a vw 1.6td swap.
its "ultra flat camouflage" by krylon... its awesome stuff...

and i think the next rifle im getting is gonna be an SKS... but i have been thinking about getting a pistol, but i dont feel like dealing with all the goverment BS that comes with them... canadian gun laws suck maybe ill get another shotgun... or maybe a ar15 if i can find a good priced one...

I vote for the axe, if you're getting car jacked and you pull the gun, they might shoot back, if you pull an axe, they say "HOLY SH!Z, WE'RE TRYING TO ROB AN AXE MURDERER!!!!!!"

Get a volquartsen hammer for that 597, you won't regret it.

I've got about 6k rounds through mine. By far the most trouble free semi-auto .22 I've ever owned. Just be sure to tap the rounds to the back of the magazine when loading or it'll misfeed.

thanks for the link... i have been thinking about doing a trigger job to this thing... the pull on mine is like pulling a brick... but i am so use to my savage arms MK2 that any trigger feels like a brick lol... even my 870 has a better trigger than my 597...

I'd say it's at least as good as the accutrigger on the 10fp I had, and without the annoying blade safety.

                    Jams less too.

It's for a Jeep, but you might be able to do something like this for the Tracker, either at the bottom or the top of the windshield. By the way a GMC Tracker? That's the first one I've ever seen! How many were made?

Most of the Trackers in Canada were GMCs, with a handful of Geos and Pontiac Sunrunners (And of course the real Sidekicks). Not sure why the GM Suzukis up here all got different badges/marketing; Ever heard of a Pontiac Firefly?
