    Here is another hitch I built for a fellow board member

    A fellow board member requested one of my hitches with a 2" reciever. So I built one today and here it is.

    Installed it on a white Festiva I am building. I stuck it on for a final intallation fit and installed illustration. It fits nice and snug.

      Very nice how wide is it? I need that measurement to go get some tube steel.
      1992 white L, Bp, American racing 13's, stock trans.
      1991 White L, BP/F5MR, protege header, full aspire swap with gr2's, seats, and sway bar, 15" konig's, short throw, escort console.

        Good beefy hitch you have there!

        Nice work.

        Had one made, some years ago, using 25horseplay's class I hitch as a template.
        The faber decided it needed to be a little stronger so he like you used 2" square
        stock and now I'm more concerned about the tow points being strong enough!

          I tow cars with mine and no issues to speak of.

            Most of them average 40-1/4 to 40-1/2 from outside to outside of the tow hooks.

              The tow points are beast! I've really punished them before with zero failures.

                  Well they are already bolted and welded to the car from the factory and I too have punished them with zero failure.
