  • My friends SHO....

Today i spent some time giving my friend a hand with his SHO, he got into a front-end crash with it in Oct. 09' and it bent the frame and ended up getting a salvage title, well he's been rebuilding it ever since because it had a fairly fresh paint job before the crash and it was in amazing condition

He's gotten the frame straightened, structural safety has been done and the brand has been removed from the car, it just needs to be put back together the rest of the way then a regular safety/etest and its back on the road again

So today we fired it up for the first time in a very long time and he was happier then hell to hear it run so i figured i'd share a couple pics

    1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor

1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

    That is sooooo sweet drool

Glad he decided to repair it. I would totally :crybaby: if that thing went to a scrap yard.

I particularly like the LED tail light upgrade! That engine is one clean piece of machinery. Is that the fabled Yamaha engine?

Always have loved the look of the upper intakes of that engine. I wish ford had stuck it in a ranger, it was tested and the idea was scrapped because it's a revver and even the small trucks need torque. I think it would have done fine in a single cab with a 2/5 drop.

Just now realizing that you swapped the sho V6 into the Newer Taurus. Was it the V8 sho or a regular Taurus? I've seen your sig forever. Never realized you had swapped it. Cool! Must have been involved with wiring yes?

Its actually the same (or so) subframe , so it actually bolts right in. You need to rewire the thing , about 30...which isnt a bad thing when you have the EVTM Helm books.

That engine is cammed , ported to death , all bolt ons possible , rough idle ... the lot.

It was a POS 3.0 Vulcan in there , autotragic.

Now its manual (the pedals bolts right in).

I dont want to hijack the thread though but I got some before pics.

                              Bought this EX-TAXI 2002 for 1000$.
