  • My new wheels...and my $175 aspire

I put the EGT wheels on. Debating on a replacement B3 or my extra BP lying around. Auto, AC, PS, rust. Motor was run out of oil. #4 rod is broke.

Wheels are "sport max racing" model 941 15x7. Tires are 205/50-15. Had to use 5/16 spacers in the back even with aspire struts. When I get the disc brakes on I probably wont need the spacers then.

I don't do bodywork. I do change doors and fenders. Just look for some parts at a junk yard and it will almost look new. I did the same to my Festiva. I replaced the rear hatch, both doors and one fender. Go on all you can carry day.

That Aspire would be a heckuva sleeper with the BP!

Awesome rims! Aspire's going to be a nice DD once you get it back in order.

Russ, how much you want for your aspire tranny and converter? I'm wary of using these. I know its been neutralbombed and I trashed the output bearing in the converter pulling the motor.

Got the motor out. Nice gaping hole in the block under #4. Looks like the rod cap is gone.

I had EGT wheels on my first civic for awhile. Nice wheels, but not the lightest.

Definitely not. I had them laying around though and the tires are vastly superior to the ones that were on the car. Not shooting for an mpg build though. It might hit 30 mpg with the BP and 3sp auto.

I'm not sure about selling it right now. Kinda would like to have an "in case" spare for the '89.
